My only complaint would be how long you have to leave it in your hair, as a mum with two young children I don't often have the time to spend over 30 minutes on my hair so I use it as a treat even once and a while

I first tried the custard as instructed, towel dried clean hair, let it sit for about 45 minutes and rinsed. I didn't notice much of a difference to my normal conditioner. However, as my hair is heavily damaged from repeated lightening, I thought I'd try using the custard as a leave in treatment. That works much better for me! I work it through towel dried shampoo'd hair and style as usual. Doing this I find my hair feels healthier, softer and I can run my fingers through with ease. This method probably isn't for everyone as the custard is a bit heavy, but it really works for me.

Absolutely loving the hair custard. I now cannot go without. I've got afro 4C hair, washing my hair is usually not an easy task when I have to detangle and brush. My daughter is 11 and has Hated having her hair brushed since she was a toddler. I decided to have one last go. The results speak for themselves! After leaving the hair custard in for 20 mins and using the fairy locks spray on towel dried hair..she let me blow dry and brush it and shock horror, not a word of complaint!
